Start with Sorora at the whale bones
The Echonite objective belongs to Everlasting Echoback Song in Echoback Landing. Speak with Sorora, the painter beside the enormous pink whale bones, then strike the glowing echonite at night. Completing the resonance leads to the whalesong blossom needed for Elvira’s A Fragrant Journey quest.
Complete the night resonance and flower delivery
- Open the Journey log and track Everlasting Echoback Song. Find Sorora at his easel on the shore beside the large Echoback skeleton and talk to him.
- Return at night when the objective says to strike the echonite and discover the secret of the Echoback bones. Approach the glowing echonite among the bones.
- Twine with Flameruff to follow the demonstrated attack method, then strike the glowing echonite. Move around and between the bones as the blue energy links the resonance sequence.
- Continue the sequence until the luminous whale and constellation cutscene appears over the sea. This is the visible cue that the resonance part has finished.
- Follow the shore objective about the rare flower. Return to Sorora when the task asks whether he has finished his paintings and complete the conversation.
- Track A Fragrant Journey: Echoback Landing. Once the objective reads “Give the whalesong blossom to Elvira,” follow its marker and deliver the flower to Elvira beside the water.

- Still on “Strike the echonite at night”? Check that it is night and continue the resonance around the bones. The whale cutscene marks completion.
- Already seeing the flower or painting objective? Return to Sorora instead of repeating the stone sequence. After the conversation, use the Elvira delivery objective.
